Every charity on AidMotion is manually verified. Here's exactly what that means and how we protect donors.
How we verify charities
Each charity submits proof of legal registration, a bank account verification, and identification of an authorized representative. Our team cross-references documents against public charity registries (IRS EO Search, UK Charity Commission, CRA, ACNC) before approval. Verification typically takes 3–5 business days.
How donations are protected
Donations are processed by Stripe and transferred directly to the charity's connected bank account. AidMotion never holds donor funds beyond the milliseconds Stripe processes the payment. Card data is never stored on our servers.
Report a concern
If you believe a charity or campaign on AidMotion is misrepresenting itself, contact us immediately at trust@aidmotion.com. We investigate every report within 48 hours.
