Humanitarian Aid

Emergency food aid for Gaza

Run by Muslim Help

The story

Over two million people in Gaza are facing catastrophic levels of food insecurity. According to the latest IPC assessment, more than 500,000 people are at imminent risk of famine. Bakeries have closed, markets are empty, and humanitarian convoys face daily delays at every checkpoint. Our local partners — verified organizations that have operated in Gaza for more than a decade — are running emergency kitchens and distributing hot meals and dry-goods food parcels to displaced families across Khan Yunis, Rafah, and the central governorates. Right now we are reaching over 4,000 people every day, but the need vastly exceeds what we can supply. What your donation does Every donation goes directly to the supply chain: flour, cooking oil, lentils, baby formula, water, and the fuel needed to move all of it. We don't deduct any platform fees. AidMotion processes the payment, and your donation reaches our partner organization in their local currency within days. • $25 — Seven hot meals for one displaced family. • $50 — One full week of cooked meals for a household of five. • $100 — A two-week food parcel covering flour, rice, oil, sugar, lentils, canned protein, and infant nutrition where needed. • $500 — A full month of meals for ten families, plus the fuel for the kitchens that prepare them. Why this campaign exists The international response has fallen far short of the immediate need. Where official aid corridors are blocked or delayed, smaller, locally-rooted operations can move faster. This campaign exists to keep those operations funded — without lag, without bureaucracy, without strings attached. Where the funds go Every dollar we receive is logged in a public spreadsheet that links to scanned receipts from the field. We publish a full reconciliation at the end of every month and the figures are independently audited at the end of each year. Of every $100 donated: • $92 reaches the cause directly (raw cost of food, water, fuel, distribution). • $5 covers in-country logistics (drivers, warehouse rent, vehicle maintenance). • $3 covers Stripe payment-processing fees, unless you choose to cover them at checkout. AidMotion takes 0% — that's the whole point of this platform. Who we are Muslim Help is a UK-registered charity (No. 1156341) that has worked alongside grassroots partners since 2014. We deliver aid to families displaced by conflict and climate crises, with active programs in Yemen, Somalia, Syria, and Bangladesh in addition to Gaza. Our financial reporting is published quarterly at muslimhelp.org/reports. Every campaign on AidMotion passes a 3–5 day review before it can accept donations. The verification team checks our charitable registration, bank account, authorized representative ID, and a sample of past field reports. Frequently asked How quickly does my donation reach the cause? Stripe processes the payment within seconds. Funds arrive in our partner's bank account within 2–7 business days, depending on country. From there, food parcels typically reach families within 5–10 days. Is this tax-deductible? Yes, in the UK (we are eligible for Gift Aid) and the US (via our 501(c)(3) equivalency partner). You'll receive a receipt by email immediately after donating; tax documentation is available from your account at any time. What if the situation changes? If the campaign goal is met, or if conditions on the ground require a pivot, we publish an update on this page within 24 hours. Donors who opted in receive an email automatically. How can I do more than donate? Share this campaign — it's the single biggest force multiplier we have. Every share reaches an average of 12 new people, and historical data on Muslim Help campaigns says about 1 in 50 of those convert into a new donor. So a single share is worth, on average, about $30 of additional funding. Thank you for being part of this. Every dollar matters. Every meal matters.

  1. 4,200 hot meals served this week

    AidMotion AdminJun 29, 2026

Quick update from the field: between Monday and Saturday this week, our partner kitchens served 4,217 hot meals — the highest seven-day total since we launched this campaign. This was made possible by donor-funded fuel deliveries and three new volunteer cooks who joined us mid-week. The need continues to outpace what we can supply. We are now operating two kitchens in Rafah and one in central Khan Yunis. If conditions allow, we hope to bring a fourth kitchen online in the coming fortnight. A full reconciliation of expenses for the past 30 days is now posted to our public ledger at muslimhelp.org/reports.
  2. Flour shipment cleared customs

    AidMotion AdminJun 8, 2026

After a 9-day delay at Rafah, our 20-ton flour shipment cleared customs this morning. The convoy is now on the road and we expect distribution to start by the weekend. Our team in Khan Yunis has been preparing the kitchens — gas tanks topped up, distribution lists checked against the latest displacement census, and 14 volunteers ready to help cook. Photos and a full breakdown of the first day's distribution will follow in the next update. Thank you to every donor whose contribution made this possible. We could not have moved as fast without you.
